Airports & Flights in Goa
The Goa Dabolim airport is the only airport in Goa. It is fundamentally a military airport. However civil flights are permitted when it gets spared from the military uses. apart from handling the regular flights, the Dabolim airport also handles a large number of chartered flights.
The airport is operated by a number of airlines companies both domestic and nternational. visitors can book flights to Mumbai. The list of domestic airlines includes Indian airlines, Jet airways, Alliance air and the Sahara India.
The Dabolim airport houses nearly all facilities of a modern day international airport. There are snack bars, phone booths, restaurants and venues for foreign money exchanges apart from the shops where one can shop for the typical Goan items like liquors, cigarettes, electronic, chocolates, crockery and watches.
